Elevate Purdue Foundry Fund (EPFF): Purdue and Elevate Ventures solidified a partnership which provides funding for entrepreneurs-in-residences (EIR) to assist early stage and high growth companies within the Purdue ecosystem. In addition to assistance, in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), the Foundry and Elevate Ventures developed the Elevate Purdue Foundry Fund (EPFF) which has two stages of capital: Black Award and Gold Award. For the Black Award, EPFF will invests up to $20k in seed stage companies; For the Gold Award, the EPFF will consider investing up to $80k in Black Award winners who meet established milestones. Since its inception in 2014, this strong partnership has helped start over fifty companies and twenty-seven black award investments.
