We are a finalist for EPFF Black award & Ag-Celerator™ Fund


Carmel, Indiana., November 1, 2018- We are proud to share with you all that Karyosoft has been shortlisted as a finalist for highly competitive Elevate Purdue Foundry Fund (EPFF) Black award and Ag-Celerator fund operated by Purdue Ventures. Our Founder/CEO, Rajesh Perianayagam will be competing for these funds pitching to selection committee for investment in December 2018.


Elevate Purdue Foundry Fund (EPFF): Purdue and Elevate Ventures solidified a partnership which provides funding for entrepreneurs-in-residences (EIR) to assist early stage and high growth companies within the Purdue ecosystem. In addition to assistance, in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), the Foundry and Elevate Ventures developed the Elevate Purdue Foundry Fund (EPFF) which has two stages of capital: Black Award and Gold Award. For the Black Award, EPFF will invests up to $20k in seed stage companies; For the Gold Award, the EPFF will consider investing up to $80k in Black Award winners who meet established milestones. Since its inception in 2014, this strong partnership has helped start over fifty companies and twenty-seven black award investments. Ag-Celerator™ Fund: Ag-Celerator™, created in 2015, is a $2 million plant sciences innovation fund designed to provide critical startup support for Purdue innovators who wish to commercialize patented intellectual property or Purdue “know-how” technologies. Funding is considered for innovations that impact the life sciences, such as advancing crop traits, generating higher yields, using big data to improve farm management, finding new uses of plants, using precision agriculture, and discovering advanced breeding techniques. Purdue students, faculty and alumni can receive up to $100,000 in funding through the program. Investments are made per semester on a competitive basis.
